A B O U T S I M P L E P I C S F R O M A R O U N D by Birgitte Brondsted: I'm Danish, born in Copenhagen, now living and working in Rome. I take photographs out of passion. Everything you see in my portfolios starts from my eyes, passes through the camera, and sometimes gets a final touch on my Mac. If I manage to complete this process by bringing a moment of joy to the viewer... then everything is perfect and I'm happy. I prefer shooting in natural surroundings and with natural light. I like photographing ordinary things, places and people from my life. And I love details. In the big picture I will always focus on that little detail that changes everything, leaving out the rest. I like to keep it simple. I am in love with the simple things in life - the simple way of life - and I believe this is very much reflected in my photos, which I would definitely describe as nothing but simple pics from around...
